One question people often ask is:
"What prevents one person from ruining the community for everyone else?"
The answer is simple.
• Every member of the Black Diamond Guild voluntarily agrees to the same Constitution, the same bylaws, and the same Code of Conduct before becoming a member.
• Membership is a privilege, not a right.
• Individuals who choose not to follow the standards they agreed to may lose the privileges and benefits of membership.
This creates something that is often missing from many shared-property arrangements:
Accountability.
• Everyone is expected to treat others with honesty, respect, compassion, and personal responsibility.
• Everyone plays by the same rules.
• Everyone is held to the same standards.
Before deciding whether this community is right for you, we encourage you to review Article IV of the Black Diamond Guild Constitution and ask yourself a simple question:
"Would I want to live around people who agree to these standards?"
If your answer is yes, you'll understand why our members feel comfortable building a future together.

What does that mean?This means that we believe everyone should be able to purchase and own their own house, own their own grid and have an endless food supply. So we created 'Project Home Base', a three-tiered path to freedom that anyone can walk! You can start at any tier you want. Dignity Den, Bridging the Gap, or Next Step. (*See 'Project Homebase') 
Through Project Home Base, Silver, Gold and Diamond Members work toward owning their own homes with independent power, water, sewer, and food-production systems. |
How Does It Work?Becoming part of this is very easy. (See the flow chart below) 
Our Black Diamond Guild offers Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond Memberships. With a Free Bronze Membership, you will receive our newsletters with property announcements. These will give you a description of the property we are looking at developing. That's Very Important! Sign up for free membership to stay 'in the know'! 
Silver Membership allows members to participate in month-to-month retreat stays and even longer! If you want to be on site over night, you will need this membership. It is super basic and straighforward. 
Now... We are always searching for new awesome properties. When we find one, we notify our Members through our newsletter. This is why we say to sign up for our free membership! Those Members then let us know if they want to invest as a Gold or Diamond Member on that specific property. 
Diamond Members have cash in hand to purchase a lifetime retreat Membership on the property. Gold Members may not have the full upfront amount, but they commit to monthly contributions until their lifetime retreat Membership is fully funded. Once enough committed Gold and Diamond Members come together, the property is acquired. 
After that, our Blueprint Development team handles the planning and permitting necessary to bring the property to life! It is literally that simple!!
